Helderberg Community Hub is a simple, community‑driven platform created for the people of Somerset West, Strand, Gordon’s Bay and surrounding areas in the Helderberg. Our aim is to make it easier for residents to see what’s happening locally without digging through lots of different sources.
We focus on four main things: everyday community news, upcoming events, important safety alerts and adverts from local businesses and services. If it helps people live, work or enjoy life in the Helderberg, we want it to be easy to find here.
This site is run in a friendly, casual style – more “neighbourhood noticeboard” than formal news outlet. We rely on local input and shared information from residents, community groups, businesses and schools. When you send us details, we review them and then publish what’s useful for the wider community.
